Lake grew up on a mountain with lots of plants and colored pencils. After sponsorship from Patagonia, she worked with design teams at Levi’s, Nest, Patagonia, and 1st Ave Machine. Her films have been featured by AIGA and Sundance Film Festival. Lake brings wonder to life through drawing and film; she creates a peculiar form of ordinary magic that moves between dreams and calls us out on our own false consciousness. Lake is receiving her MFA from RISD this June.
