It’s wild that our family has grown to 18 cities, huh? Today, we’re thinking of dreamy Seattle.💞 The community there is amazingly loyal to their local talent (hello, Macklemore + Ryan), it’s the home of Sleepless Seattle (need we say more?), and when we think of this amazing city, we’re reminded of L❤️VE.

And we’re just realizing we never shared how incredible our Seattle launch was back in September! We caught up with the Royce, Austin and SarahRose, our epic Daybreaker Seattle Community Catalysts, and asked them all about our community there. Here’s what they said!

1. // What was one thing that made the Seattle launch most memorable?

DB Seattle: Oh man! This is a hard one for us to decide on just ONE thing! The launch was memorable start to finish, but hosting our kick off at the historic and funky EMP will always stand out. It’s not everyday that you get to wake up to a 33’ x 60’ HD LED screen with 300 of your sweatiest friends. 😅

2. // Describe the Seattle community and why it’s so special … go!

DB Seattle: Seattle. You are so special-and we don’t mean in a socks and Birkenstocks kind of way. Seattle is a very eclectic city, and we love featuring that on the dance floor. Our community is heavily rooted in movement, whether it’s yoga, biking around the city, or hitting up the dance floor (almost) every day.💃

3. // Can you tell us about one mischievous behind-the-scenes stories from the Seattle launch?

DB Seattle: I think SarahRose will want to take this one. 😉

SarahRose: Yesss. Our launch party started the “tradition” of one of the MALE producers wearing a pair of MY pants (or my Mother’s sweet pink and black spandex from her jazzercise days). 🙌  Elliott (our MC) also hoped on the SarahRose legging train and rocked a pair of my pants too! I also had to track him down via snail mail to get them back!

4. // How has Daybreaker Seattle grown since the launch?

DB Seattle: Daybreaker Seattle has grown A TON since our launch. The best part about the growth, is that it has been together. We have learned from our community and continued to fine tune each party to really make it an amazing experience start to finish. We have also seen our community grow in size, and in CONNECTION. We have people that come to parties alone, and end up making friends on the dance floor that then come to the next party together. It’s a blessing to see the love spread to each other through smiles, sweat and shared energy!✨

5. // What does your dream for Daybreaker Seattle look like?

DB Seattle: Our dream will soon be a reality, with parties on BOTH side of the bridge (watch out Eastside!), and taking Daybreaker beyond the 4 walls of the venue. We want to share our passion for community and connection with the entire city, and we’re looking for different ways we can reach attendees beyond the party. We dream of bi-weekly packed parties, endless amounts of mischief, and spreading love through movement.
