“Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.”
– Marianne Williamson
Happy Sunday Fam! 💕
Summer is wrapping up, y’all. (I know we can’t believe it either!) Let’s just take a minute this AM to pause, breathe in these final summer moments and reflect. ✨The world buzzes by so fast these days, we often forget to stop and soak it in, amiright? So take a quick sec to think back to the intentions you set out from when the first heat wave hit, and savor ’em.
This week is a biggie for us; our community book, BELONG finally launches and gets out into the world!! 🎉🌍 This book, written by our chief Mama Bear, Radha Agrawal, is intended to help more people make friends and build communities that set their souls on fire. We have pre-order goodies aplenty (including special access to Radha’s Online Masterclass). After Sept 4th, they go away forevs, so snag ’em quick! The clock is literally a’tickin.
All right, fam. Keep scrolling for this week’s dance floor tale, tunes, upcoming events, noodles and our Sunday Seedlip Serve. <3

✨WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU JUST KNOW✨
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been searching for a place that feels like home. Kind of like when people talk about falling in love, “when you know, you just know.” 💘
I have been waiting for that feeling to sweep over me my whole life, as I’ve joined countless different social groups and been a part of many networks. However, that feeling never came. I was always holding back—afraid to be my whole, complete self because I didn’t feel the space I was in provided me with that ability. That all changed when I walked into my first Daybreaker event, alone, with a belly full of butterflies the morning of August 22nd. 🦋
I decided to give myself entirely to the experience.
I laid my yoga mat down between two strangers, and received big warm smiles from them both. I listened to my body and connected with my breath in a deeper way than I have in the past. 🙏 At first when the dance party started I was nervous. I didn’t know anyone and was afraid of how silly I would look like dancing alone. I also didn’t have booze coursing through my veins, which in the past always willed me to move my body. It was just me, beautiful strangers, and the music. So I threw my hands up, and I DANCED. 💃
It was the most freeing, transformative, euphoric experience I have ever had in my life.🔥 The people around me welcomed me with open arms—I mean literally people were hugging me, introducing themselves, and dancing next to me. You could feel the love of the community in the air and it moved me to tears. It moves me to tears just to share this.
Daybreaker was something I had always admired from afar. Wishing on shooting stars that I could someday be a part of a community where fearless self-expression was not only supported, but encouraged. Finally, here I was — being accepted by others for just showing up and being myself. I had finally found my tribe, my home.❤️
I am honored and beyond grateful to call Daybreaker my tribe and I can’t wait to cultivate magic each and every day with you all.✨
With love & mischief,
// Tylyn

“When you get the right mix of energy in a room, it’s magic and a flourishing community becomes inevitable.” A sneak peek into the pages of BELONG.🎉📒
When building our tribe of people here are some things to think about…🤔
ENERGY— How’s this person’s energy? Positive? Vibrant? Inviting? Encouraging? Kind? Are they an FYF? What kind of energy do they bring to the room?💥
PASSION— Are they passionate about the community and Core Values it embodies? Trust your gut. Someone may be passionate about your community but living on the left side of the Axis of Energy. If so, they’re not the right energy for you Core Community.
PERSONALITY MIX— Consider a balance of personality types. For instance— joyful leaders, enthusiastic followers, maternal types (not always women!), funny people, some high energy, some calm energy, big-picture thinkers, make-it-happen types, etc. Think about whether the mix of people you’re inviting will create the energy you envisioned for the community.✨
PORTALS — Portals share without any fear of insecurity and love to cheerlead new communities. Remember, Portals are not the same as social media influencers. On social media, Anyone can follow you and it’s mostly a one-way conversation. Portals are people who represent doorways to like-minded, authentic communities that you can actually belong to. Inviting Portals to join your initial Core Community will inspire more generous sharing.
Hmmm. Something to noodle on as you make your weekend hang plans, eh? 😊
