Daybreaker LIVE x The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Card present
🌸Episode 10: ISLAND DANCE EXPERIENCE🌸
📍Stop 2 of 3 of our #SaturdayStaycation Series
Daybreaker Family,
Every Saturday for the last nine weeks, we have committed to gathering our global community together to have a few hours of respite, connection, movement and dance while we’re all at home.
With everything that’s going on, we still believe gathering every Saturday is deeply important. And, for 3 weekends, to travel to other parts of the country and the world to learn new forms of dance, new sounds, new cultures and communities to deepen our empathy and nurture our compassion.
We know we need this, and we’re guessing you need it too. So let’s dance, move and smile.
This week, for the second stop of our Daybreaker LIVE Saturday Staycation series, empowered by The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Card who have generously made these events free, you’re invited to explore and learn about the Hawaiian Islands. 🌈
To honor the Hawaiian culture, we’ll warm up with 30 mins of guided hula dancing led by former Miss Hawaii & Ambassador of Aloha Nicole Fox. 🌺
Then with open hearts, we’ll dance in whatever way feels right to our bodies with thousands of friends around the globe. Together, we’ll return to our human roots with fire dancers, and a hula dance by Hawaiian native by Renee & Matthew Morrison. 💗
Wear something to brighten your morning, and get ready for beautiful songs by Justin Kawika Young for our closing ceremony. ✨
Dance is at the heart of every one of our major life moments. And right now, it’s the self-expression we need to carry on.
In Hawaiian, there is an important phrase—”A’a i ka hula, waiho i ka maka’u i ka hale.” 🤲 Dare to dance, leave shame at home. So while we’re all at home, let’s dare to live and learn with our global fam.
